Tiny tweaks to get out of fight-or-flight and back into flow

But too much of it? It overloads your nervous system, and leaves you feeling anxious, unfocused, and oddly exhausted.
We weren’t designed to consume this much noise.
And the result? Your vagus nerve, the master regulator of calm,is in survival mode.
🧠 What’s the Vagus Nerve?
Think of it as your body's built-in stress switch. When activated, it helps:
Slow your heart rate
Reduce anxiety
Improve digestion
Support focus and recovery
But nonstop screen time, doom-scrolling, multitasking, and being always on?
That’s like having a stuck accelerator with no brakes.

Here’s how I coach high performers to reclaim calm and clarity:
✅ Digital Detox Windows Try 20–30 minutes of zero phone time. Start your morning without scrolling, it sets the tone for your entire day.

✅ Vagus Nerve Activation Daily
Breathwork: 4-count inhale, 6-count exhale
Cold water splash on your face or neck
Humming, singing, or gargling
Laughter (seriously, it’s medicine)
