Stressed? Here’s what your body’s really asking for
4 tiny habits to tell your body: It’s okay, you can chill now
Hey you,
Week 2 is here!
This week, let's talk about stress. Not the loud, dramatic kind, but the quiet, sneaky kind that lingers long after the to-do list is done.
Your brain might say “we’re good,” but your body? It’s still running the marathon.
The truth is, it needs a signal to relax.
The fix? Small daily habits.
Some are simple, some are delicious, and all of them work.
Let’s dive in.
1. Magnesium-Rich Foods = Nature’s Chill Pill
Magnesium is your body’s natural stress-buster, and most of us are unknowingly low on it.
Here’s what to munch on to get your magnesium levels up →
Pumpkin seeds
Leafy greens (spinach, kale)
Almonds, cashews
Avocados
Dark chocolate (70%+ counts!)
Lentils, black beans, edamame
Magnesium and sleep? They’re besties. It regulates melatonin, reduces cortisol, and calms the nervous system. Now’s the perfect time to add magnesium to your diet!
2. Sip Smarter, Stress Less
Dehydration can actually mimic anxiety. Instead of another coffee, try one of these →
Coconut water
Herbal teas (chamomile, lavender, lemon balm)
Warm water + lemon + pinch of sea salt
My fav: the Magnesium Mocktail (recipe below!)
3. Coach Tee’s Magnesium Mocktail (Nighttime Gold)
This is my nighttime secret weapon when I need to wind down →
½ packet magnesium powder (Natural Calm or Trace Minerals)
1 tbsp tart cherry juice (melatonin magic)
Squeeze of lime
Sparkling water
Optional: mint leaves or dash of sea salt

Stir, sip, and say good night

4. Stress-Lowering Snacks on the Go
No need for fancy meals. Here are simple combos to fuel your body and prevent cortisol spikes:
Greek yogurt + berries + hemp seeds
Whole grain toast + almond butter + banana
Oats + cinnamon + chia + nuts
These snacks work wonders for your stress levels!
Final Thought:
Stress is a part of life, but staying stuck in it? Not necessary.
You don’t need a spa day to reset, just give your body the right signals, and it’ll take care of the rest.
Oh, and about that surprise I mentioned.
